Interior design and photography: Paul Massey
Today a house close to home. We’re in Primrose Hill viewing a lovely house designed and photographed by Paul Massey.
I’m a big fan of Paul Massey’s work and I absolutely adore this eclectic property. It’s got just the right combination of industrial, rustic and nordic styles. The subtle use of natural colours works beautifully here. Warm copper, natural greens, all shades of grey, light and dark wood, industrial zinc, all framed by white walls, floors and ceilings. And how simple yet ingenious is this copper water tap! Or the zinc barrel doubling as a side table. The sofa and the armchair in the living room look so incredibly comfortable and inviting, and the reclaimed or vintage pieces add warmth and character to the place.
Paul Massey is a British photographer with a rather extraordinary career. He started taking photos when he was 5. His interiors/lifestyle work is regularly featured in Living Etc, The New York Times, Elle Decoration, GQ, Vogue, The Times, The Observer. He’s been known to photograph Michael Caine, Quentin Tarantino, Ryan Giggs, Paul Smith, Prince Charles,Nelson Mandela, Mick Jagger, and more. You can read more on his biography here.
Enjoy your Sunday evening!
